Montgomery Motor Speedway

Montgomery Motor Speedway is a complex consisting of a 1/2 mile paved oval and a dragstrip (MMS-Capital City Dragway) located near Montgomery, Alabama.

Montgomery Motor Speedway closed early in 2006. It is unclear if there will be any races in 2007 until mid April.

Historical Note

The track opened on April 25th, 1955. NASCAR Grand National races were held intermittantly between 1955 and 1968.

The track has also operated as Montgomery International Raceway, Montgomery International Speedway and Montgomery Speedway USA.
