Cajon Speedway

Cajon Speedway was a 3/8 mile paved oval located near El Cajon, California. There was also a motocross track on site.

Historical Note

The track opened as a 1/4 mile dirt oval on July 15th, 1961, operating in this form until October of 1963. It was enlarged to a 3/8 mile dirt oval, opening in this form on April 17th, 1964, operating into 1965. The 3/8 mile oval was paved, opening in April of 1966. A 3/8 mile figure 8 operated in 1980. The oval closed for cars at the end of 2004. There were some autocross and karting events in 2005.
