Southern Illinois Center features an indoor 1/6 mile dirt oval used for midgets and karts. The center is located on the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds and complements the 1 mile outdooor track which has operated on the Fairgrounds for quite some time.

Southern Illinois Center opened in the Summer of 2005. It was apparently briefly operated as a 1/8 mile oval before being expanded to 1/6 mile.
