Rooks County Speedway

Rooks County Speedway is a 1/2 mile semi-banked dirt oval located on the Rooks County Fairgrounds on the south side of Stockton, Kansas.

Operations are reportedly suspended for 2007; future plans are unknown.

Historical Note

The track opened around 1933, operating through 1941. After WWII, it reopened in 1946, operating through 1952. It reopened again on August 20th, 1958, operating through 1994, and then from 1996 through 2006.

The track has also operated as Stockton Race Track.
