Clay City Thunder Valley was a 3/8 mile dirt oval located at the southeast end of Mountain Park Dragway. The track had been inactive since 2000 and recently gave way to expansion pressure at the dragway.
The track opened in 1964 as a 1/2 mile dirt oval. It operated in this form from 1964 to 1978, in 1984, and from 1987 to 1993. For 1994, it was expanded to 3/8 mile, and operated in this form in 1994, 1996-1998, and 2000. The track has also operated under the names Clay City Speedway and Clay City Raceway.
