Champion Motor Speedway

Champion Motor Speedway was a complex which included a 1/3 mile paved oval, a 1/3 mile paved figure 8 course, and what appeared to be a motocross track located near Carson City, Nevada.

Historical Note

The paved 1/3 mile oval opened in 1964, operating continuously until the site was sold for development at the end of 2005. A 1/6 mile dirt oval operated in 1988. A 1/3 mile paved figure 8 course opened in 2003, operating until 2005. A 1/8 mile dirt oval operated inside the paved oval in 2002.

The track has also operated as Silver State Speedway, T-Car Speedway, Tahoe-Carson Speedway and Carson Tahoe Championship Speedway.
