Lakeland International Raceway

Lakeland International Raceway was a combined drag strip and 1.7-mile road course located southeast of the intersection of I-40 and Canada Rd, Lakeland, TN, about 15 miles northeast of Memphis. The drag strip opened in 1960 and the road course, which was used by SCCA and USAC, in 1969. At some time it was renamed Shelby County International Raceway. The facility closed in 1979.
