Devil's Bowl Speedway

Devil's Bowl Speedway is a 1/2 mile dirt oval located near the Mesquite Metropolitan Airport east of Mesquite, Texas.

The track opened in 1968 (the builders of the track had previously operated a track of the same name in Dallas through 1963.) Initially the track was 3/8 mile in length; it was enlarged to the current 1/2 mile in 1973. The first ever World Of Outlaws race was held here on March 18th, 1978.
