Lubbock Dragway is a 1/4 mile NHRA dragstrip located southeast of Idalou, Texas. It appears to be using an old airstrip.

Historical Note

The dragstrip opened in 1972 under the name Lubbock Dragway. A 1/4 mile dirt oval operated from 1972 to 1978, and reopened for one year in 1982. It operated under the name Lubbock Speedbowl and Family Park Speedway. The facility has also operated as Idalou Motorsports and Lubbock International Dragway.

Lubbock Dragway is on CR 6300 a short distance east of its junction with FM 400. The apparent airport marked in the map is the dragstrip.
