Texas Motor Speedway

Texas Motor Speedway is a complex built around a 1.5 mile oval. The complex also includes a 1/4 mile paved oval, a 4/10-mile clay oval, and a multi-configuration paved road course. The track is located north of Fort Worth, Texas.

Historical Note

The 1.5 mile paved oval opened on April 4th, 1997. 1.1 and 2.25 mile road courses operated in 1997-1999. The quarter mile paved oval opened in 1997. The dirt oval opened on March 30th, 2000. The current 2.324 mile paved road course opened on September 1st, 2000.
