Talladega Superspeedway is a 2.66 mile oval with 33 degree banking, located near Talladega, Alabama. An infield road course is no longer in use.

The track opened as Alabama International Motor Speedway on September 12th, 1969. The 4.0 mile infield road course operated from November 11th, 1969 until 1983.
A number of significant closed course speed records have been set at Talladega over the years. Mark Donahue drove the Can-Am Sunoco Porsche on a 221.160 mph lap on August 9th, 1975.

Get off of I-20 onto Speedway Boulevard, at either Exit 168 or Exit 173. The Speedway is located on this road, adjacent to the Talladega Airport.
