The track operated from June 12, 1947 to September 2, 1963. Subsequently, the Two Guys department store was built on the site. The old store building is now leased by Bank of America for document processing services.
The track also operated under the name Menands Raceway.

Some newspaper ads for the track during its heyday:
The track was located close enough to the Hudson river that spectators used to sit on the NY-378 bridge and watch the races for free. This suggests that the track site was likely partially or completely buried when I-787 was built along the west side of the river.
