The track operated from June 12, 1947 to September 2, 1963. Subsequently, the Two Guys department store was built on the site. The building still stands but Two Guys closed long ago.
The track also operated under the name Menands Raceway.

Some newspaper ads for the track during its heyday:
The track was located close enough to the Hudson river that spectators used to sit on the NY-378 bridge and watch the races for free.
An examination of historical topographic maps and aerial imagery suggests the track's footprint was very similar to the footprint of the Two Guys building that replaced it.
