Historical Note

A 1/5 mile dirt oval operated here from about 1946 through 1956. A NASCAR GN race ran here on June 3rd, 1956, won by Herb Thomas. A 1/4 mile dirt oval opened around 1961. The track was expanded to 3/8 mile in 1991. A 1/4 mile figure 8 course operated during the 70s.
