Track Facts

Historical Note

Humberstone Speedway opened on May 31st, 1958 as a 1/4 mile clay oval. The track was enlarged to 1/3 mile in the late 60s and lengthened again to the current 1/2 mile in 1984-1985. In 1990, the name was changed to Gasport International Speedway by new owners, and reverted to Humberstone Speedway for 2005 when the current ownership group took over.
