Auto Plus Raceway

Auto Plus Raceway is a facility containing a famous NHRA drag strip and a vehicle testing road course sometimes used by karts for competition. The road course was designed by Alan Wilson.

Historical Note

Gainesville Raceway opened in 1969, and held the first of many NHRA Gator Nationals in 1970.

The current road course was completed in 2000, and was designed by Alan Wilson. An older 1.6 mile road course was used from 1977 through 1984.

The track has also operated as Gainesville Dragway.
