JAX Raceways

JAX Raceways was a facility which included a 1/8 mile NHRA drag strip, a 1/2 mile NASCAR dirt oval, and a WKA kart track. JAX Raceways was located near Jacksonville, Florida.

Historical Note

The 1/4 mile paved oval operated from June 9th, 1968 through 1972. The 1/8 mile dragstrip opened around 1969. The 1/2 mile dirt oval opened in 1973. The track closed after the 2004 season.

The track had also operated as Gator Speedway, New Jacksonville Speedway and JAX Dragstrip.
