Boyd's Speedway

Boyd's Speedway is a 1/3 mile clay oval located north of Ringgold, Georgia adjacent to the Georgia-Tennessee state line. There is a 1/6 mile kart track on the Tennessee side of the line.

Historical Note

The 1/3 mile dirt oval opened in 1952, operating through 1961. The facility operated a 1/3 mile paved oval from August fo 1962 through 1976. The track converted back to dirt in 1977, operating through 1995. It reopened from 1997 through 2002 and reopened again sometime around 2004-2005.

The track has also operated as Stateline Speedway, Tennessee-Georgia Raceway, Tennessee-Georgia Speedway, Chattanooga International Raceway and Chattanooga Raceway Park. The current name, Boyd's Speedway, is also the original name (The track was built by E. A. Boyd).
