Historical Note

The track opened as a dirt oval in the early 70's under the name Henry's Speedway. It would be convered to asphalt and back to dirt, and renamed Benton County Speedway. The new owners (the Kamps) renamed the track Kamp Motor Speedway and did extensive rennovation, reshaping the track and bringing in red clay from Kentucky. The track reopened in 2002.
