Historical Note

As with the Kansas City Speedway, racing came back to Fairfax in the late 1990s when the parking lot of the GM plant was used for autocrossing by the Kansas City Region SCCA. This came to an end when a local auto-workers' union official complained about `foreign' cars being allowed to use their parking lot.
