I-55 Raceway

I-55 Raceway is a complex consisting of a 1/3 mile high-banked clay oval and a paved karting road circuit located south of Pevely, Missouri. Banking is 19 degrees in the corners and 10 degrees in the straights. A dragstrip once existed on this site, but has been retired.

The kart circuit is leased to the St. Louis Karting Association.

Camping is permitted onsite but there are no facilities.

NASCAR driver Ken Schrader is one of the co-promoters.

Historical Note

The dragstrip shut down after the 1993 flood. The kart track was built over the shutdown area of the dragstrip and opened in 2003.
