Historical Note

The track opened in 1959, operating until 1985, and again from 1988 until 1998, when the property was reportedly sold for a housing development. When nearby Queen City Speedway shut down, the track was revived, reopening in 2006.

The track has also operated as Mississippi-Alabama Speedway, Whynot Raceway and Whynot Speedway
