ACE Speedway is a 4/10 mile paved oval with 12 degree banking in the corners, located in Almance County, North Carolina.
New: 2005-03-09
The track was built in 1956 as a 1/3 mile dirt track. In 1984, it was expaned to 3/8 mile. The facility was paved in 1990, and the track started operating under NASCAR sanction. It was enlarged to a full 4/10 mile in 1998 as part of an extensive renovation.
For at least part of its operating history, the track was known as "Southern Speedway", but I do not know the time frame for that name.
