Wayne County Speedway

Wayne County Speedway is a 1/3 mile dirt oval located near Pikeville, North Carolina.

The track will not be operating in 2007.

Wayne County Dragstrip shares ownership with Wayne County Dragstrip.

Historical Note

The track operated as a dirt oval in 1990 and 1991. It was paved in 1992, operating until 1994. It reopened as a paved track in 1997. The dirt was restored for the 2001 season.

The track has also operated as Friday Night Thunderdome Speedway.
